Topics
The ambition of this workshop is to set up a forum for ideas about new
computing means and models, with a particular emphasis this year on
computational models derived from physics and biology. We believe
that bringing those efforts together -in a community with a strong
foundational background as the one proffered by the ICALP attendees-
will result in inspirational cross-boundary exchanges, and innovative
further research.
Specifically we are seeking contributions in quantum computation
and information, probabilistic models, chemical,
biological and bio-inspired ones, including spatial
models, growth models and models of self-assembly.
Contributions putting to test the logical or algorithmic aspects of computing (eg, continuous
computing with dynamical systems, or solid state computing models) would be welcome.

Accepted papers are now
published on-line in the EPTCS volume 9.
Selected longer papers will be published in a special issue of IJSI, expected early April 2010.
